Surrounded by a stunning harbour and 50,000 hectares of regional parks and forests, Wellington, despite having a thriving CBD (and where we keep our politician’s), offers visitors a chance to easily explore stunning countryside and rugged coastlines.
It has the countries national museum (Te Papa) as well as, what seems to be the most art galleries, restaurants, microbreweries, and coffee houses in the country.
